Hi, I'm Lara, the founder and (as I like to say) jack of all trades at A Female Choice. Are you wondering how this idea was born? What drives me to carry on this small Feminist brand? What do I hope for the future of A Female Choice ?
Why a moral double standard?
Why are women constantly judged for their personal choices? why do we have to be labeled "LESS WOMEN" because we make free choices regarding our sexuality? We should be free to experience our bodies as we want.
This is not consensus.
It doesn't matter what we wear or what we don't wear, it doesn't matter how we dance, what we show online... it's OUR choice. Our body is our choice and does not give anyone permission to harass us, catcall us or touch us without our consent.
DIFFERENT IS NORMAL.
Don't be ashamed to ask questions about your body, because there is absolutely nothing wrong with talking about our bodies and how they work. And above all it is important to remind ourselves that all bodies are different and that is NORMAL.
Why "LOVE SEX, HATE SEXISM"?
Because this phrase perfectly represents what A Female Choice stands for: Freedom, choosing for ourselves and our bodies... and at the same time the will to destroy sexism, patriarchy and taboos still present in our society.
FEMINISM IS FOR EVERYONE. It doesn't matter when you join the fight, it doesn't matter if you start at 18, 38 or 58... it's never too late to question yourself, learn and join the feminist fight!
